Eduardo Laplante. (Photographer and painter Franco-Cuban nineteenth century) and Justo German Cantero (medical doctor, pianist, composer, poet, author of “Cuba Wits”) Laplante reached Cuba around 1848, taking up residence in Havana and a year later established as a lithographer, considered the best Cuban lithographer at the time.
